The client, a large developer for senior living communities, wanted to introduce a high end retirement life-style  community to seniors in the Charlotte metro area.  This development includes elegant apartment homes, with multiple options for their residents to engage in luxury activities, yet supported by easy access to high quality health care programs and assistance.

The design approach is the result of studies of the target community to understand their expectations and needs and the design trends that drive them.  We identified the key amenities and spaces that provide luxurious wellness and specified materials and furnishing that reflect this concept.  The selection of materials was also guided by detailed studies to resolve challenges related to budget, lead time, project size, health care guidelines, and building code regulations.

The above views are part of the final approved process after the design development and first phase construction administration.  This project was built in 2020.
